oh, man the ending was different than I think. g-man gave alyx fucking vort powers to burn the advisor outside of time that killed eli. she disappears as g-man took her in stasis. how i see it, her disappearing is basically what saved eli's life. so ep3 is on the table, i guess, but with eli vance instead tagging along with u. thats an whole new episode and weird character arc to happen. i

(ep2/alyx spoilers) I actually really didn't like ep2 that much. It seemed too rushed, and I thought the ending was really cheap. Every other hl2 game ends in a conclusive way, or at the very least, in a way that sets up the beginning of a follow-up game.
